Make your chart
Everything happens in this browser tab. Your family file and photos are not uploaded anywhere.
1 Choose your family file
A GEDCOM (.ged) file exported from your family tree software.
No file handy? (a fictional family).
2 Pick the prime person
The chart shows this person, their siblings, and their ancestors back six generations.
Printed across the top. It fills in when you pick a person, and you can change it.
Untick to print place names in full. Long names may be shortened to fit the boxes.
3 Add photos (optional)
Most people add these after seeing the first chart. Anyone without a photo gets a vintage picture, and you can add photos at any time and make the chart again.

Your chart is ready
Printed from this PDF: A3 or A2 (same shape), Tabloid / Ledger 11 × 17 in, ANSI C 17 × 22 in. Choose "Fit to page" when printing; US sizes leave a thin white border. To change photos, use step 3 and choose Make chart again.
